From September 22-23, 2016, the annual Herzstein Texas National Security Forum will take place at The University of Texas at Austin. This year's event, "Security in Transition: National Security Challenges Facing the Next President" will convene leading figures from the executive branch, the intelligence community, and academia for high-level discussions on key national security challenges facing the next President and the impact of Presidential transitions on our nation's security.
This year's forum is sponsored by the Herzstein and Moody Foundations and hosted by the Strauss Center for International Security and Law, the Clements Center for National Security, the White House Transition Project, the LBJ Presidential Library, Rice University's Baker Institute for Public Policy, the Center for Politics and Governance, and the LBJ School of Public Affairs.
The Forum is free and open to the public, but advance registration is required for each session. NOTE: Advance registration does not guarantee admission. Plan to arrive early to secure your seat!
